The Americans for Prosperity are a great national organization which fights for lower taxes and spending at the local, state, and federal levels. Last night, the AFP hosted a barbecue in Bedford to allow candidates to speak about why they’re running and meet local conservatives.
The event was a huge success, with over 100 people in attendance and over a dozen candidates for various offices.
Andy did a quick interview with the Bedford Patch explaining why he’s running and the importance of keeping taxes and spending low.
Andy also signed the AFP “pledge,” which states:
As a candidate for public office in 2012, I pledge to you, that if elected to serve the people; I will work tirelessly in New Hampshire to:
1. Cut Taxes
2. Cut Spending
3. Cut the size of Government
4. Support the Right To Work Law
5. Uphold and protect both the New Hampshire and United States Constitution
Thanks to the AFP for putting on such a great event and to everyone who came out!
